On her 21st birthday, Melissa’s ready to party down with her true-love boyfriend, JT. But when she catches her beau in flagrante delicto, her plans come crashing down around her high heels in a heap. But lest the evening be a total loss, she decides to venture out into the endless L.A. night, determined to rid herself of bad hook-up karma forever by contacting all of her past boyfriends and wiping the slate clean.
With best friends Anna and Todd in tow, Melissa embarks on her darkly comic quest, meeting enough weird characters to make even Ulysses blink. Undeterred by awkward setbacks and fueled by alcohol and angst, she wrenches self-realization and new power out of each off-beat encounter. It’s a long, strange trip, but with the approaching dawn, she ultimately comes full circle with a brash, climactic, and self-gratifying confrontation with the man who done her wrong.
