GOODBYE BABY - Cinequest Film Festival 2008

“Comedy is a socially acceptable form of hostility and aggression. That is what comics do, stand the world upside down.” – George Carlin
When Melissa Brooks (Christine Evangelista, The Kill Point) discovers she can't afford to go to college, she moves to New York City and gets a job as a waitress in a comedy club. Aspiring to be a stand-up comic, but lacking the nerve, she scours the streets of New York for material and inspiration.
