Saslaya undergoes hard conditions with a small smile and a skip in her step as she and her brother, Dario, boldly walk the path less taken into the heart of a big city to search for their mother. A glimmer of hope appears when she meets an eccentric puppeteer, accompanied by an exquisitely soft-spoken woman who may finally fulfill Saslaya’s dreams of a compassionate mother.
