Shorts Program 5: Letting Off Steam - Cinequest Film Festival 2009

When pressure builds and tensions mount, sometimes you have to turn the release valve. The following seven shorts show ways in which people let it all go, from street thugs and clergy, to young women on the move and bereaved owners and parents. The films show how release, be it sexual, emotional, or metaphysical, can change, save or destroy lives. Whether they’re from Austria, Mexico, the UK, Northern Ireland or the US, each film gives off noise and heat as the issues come to a boiling point.

Warning: These films contain heavy adult content and may not be suitable for younger viewers.
