Q: How do I download the Cinequest application for my Blackberry?
A: On your Blackberry, go to www.cinequest.org/mobile via the browser on your phone. An option to download the application to your phone will be available. Once the download is complete you will see the Cinequest application in your "Downloads" folder or with the other applications on your phone.
Q: How do I keep the Cinequest application up-to-date with the latest build?
A: Please sign-up here to receive updates when a new version of the Cinequest Blackberry application is released. New versions of our Blackberry application may include new features, or will address bugs or issues.
Q: Why doesn't my old Blackberry run the application?
A: The Cinequest Blackberry application has been developed for series 7000 phones and above. If your phone is older than the 7000 series, the application may work, but we strongly reccommend using the application on a series 7000 Blackberry or above.
Q: How do I buy tickets?
A: To purchase tickets, please visit the full version of our website www.cinequest.org on your desktop computer, or fully function mobile web browswer (ex. Safari on the iPhone.). You can also purchase tickets over the phone by dialing (408) 295-3378 (FEST) or by visiting the venues once the festival has began.
Q: What does C12, CAL and REP stand for?
A: C12, CAL, and REP are abbreviations of the Cinequest Film Festival venues. C12 is the Camera 12 Theatres, CAL is the California Theatre, and REP is the San Jose Repertory Theatre.
Q: What do the different colors in the schedule stand for?
A: Grey dates are past dates, a red date signifies today's date, and all black dates indicate future dates.
Q: What happens to the application once the festival is over?
A: Once the festival is over, you will get updated news on Cinequest year round and browse our newest releases from the Cinequest Distribution label. You will also receive exclusive updates as we continue to update and make our Blackberry application easier to use.
