Are you active on Twitter, Facebook and/or YouTube? Friend us. Fan us. Subscribe to our channel. Join in the conversation. And if you have friends or family with a passion for film or the technological innovations they bring, please invite them to join in as well.

• For Facebook, click the "share this page" when you see a Cinequest update that you like. This will place the update on your Facebook wall, providing even more visibility for our update.
• For Twitter, feel free to Retweet any of our tweets, again, any time you Tweet our news, you are introducing us to new audiences.
• For YouTube, like our videos? Share the ones that resonate with you. You can upload them to your Facebook page, email them, or share over Twitter.

Cinequest Never Ending Passion Contest

Cinequest Fans- what is YOUR passion? Making movies? Science? Dancing? Show us your Passion in a 15-30 second video clip. Top clips will be featured throughout the festival and the winner will be announced on closing night and screened at our Closing Night Party!

The Contest

• The duration of contest is February 15th - March 4, 2012.
• First two weeks of February: Cinequest staff will share their passion via video clips on the Cinequest Facebook Page.
• The following three weeks, you can submit your clip and post it on the Cinequest Facebook Page.
• Describe your passion to us: Passion can be anything from dancing to singing to writing or even just being passionate about life!
• Clips must be 15-30 seconds in length.
• You must use the Cinequest "My Never Ending Passion is..." plaque during your video clip. (Download the plaque here)
• You must introduce yourself and then state your passion. For example: "Hi, my name is Becky and My Never Ending Passion is... Kiteboarding."
• Be creative and fun!
• No obscene or inappropriate clips.

The Decision

• The Cinequest Publicity and Marketing team will review submitted clips and make the final decisions on finalists and will select one (1) overall winner.

The Reveal

• Finalists will be featured throughout the duration of the festival in theatre screenings and on the Cinequest Facebook Page.
• Winner will be announced and screened at the Closing Night Awards Ceremony (Located in the California Theatre, March 10, 2012) and conclude this year's passionate festival.
• Winner will be honored with a pair of "Never Ending Passion" t-shirts and a pair of tickets to all Closing Night Events.
• Winner will be exclusively escorted by a publicity team member to the after party where they get to meet and greet filmmakers and stars of the closing night film, if applicable.
• "My Never Ending Passion is..." pins will be available during the festival at the Intel VIP Lounge and in participating theatre venues.
• Wear your pins and share your festival pictures via Facebook or Twitter.

All submitted clips become the property of Cinequest and are available for promotional use. You must be 13 years or older to submit your clip. This contest starts February 15, 2012 so get your entries in by March 4, 2012 at Midnight (12am) PST for a chance to participate in this fun and inspiring contest.
