Making Waves is a charming romantic comedy, that takes a leap into the odd lives of a disparate group of ham-radio enthusiasts who include a lonely video-store owner, a drunken Russian cosmonaut marooned on the space station Mir, a paranoid conspiracy nut, a Californian surfer and an elderly Welsh priest. Unfortunately, when two characters out of this disorderly bunch fall in love with each other's imaginary personas things become full of twists and turns - especially when they find themselves having to meet face-to-face and are forced to attempt to live up to their fictitious alter-egos. Out-of-the-ordinary and full of laughs, Making Waves is an out-of-the-world romance on how some people will go to any wavelength for a date.
