Preserve

Running time: 100 mins

What you see through the viewfinder may be actually finding you.

No longer engaged to his girlfriend, Marcin moves into a run-down flat in a seedy apartment building. Soon after settling in, the young photographer is commissioned by the building?s owner to document the woeful state of the property. What seems at first to be a straightforward task of recording the disrepair of the structure soon becomes an increasingly seductive process of discovery, where he finds himself drawn into a world inhabited by a host of characters, both fascinating and dangerous.

Alluring and suspenseful, Preserve deftly accomplishes what film does best, opening the door and leading you into a completely different world that is strange, wonderful, and a little bit frightening. Like the captured images of Marcin?s camera, you?ll be held fast in a landscape begging to be explored; one that never disappoints in its surprises and its truth.
