Brittany, make-up artist for low-budget porn films, and her boyfriend Simon, ex-NFL kicker-turned-caterer, are fed up with their shitty jobs and ready to ditch LA to open up a combo salon/saloon to suit both of their passions. In the midst of their cross country trek to Victory, Texas, Simon gets offered his dream job as a college football scout back in southern California. While he?s trying to find a way to break the news to Brittany, they stop in Utah where Simon?s Mormon friend abandons his wife and daughter to hitch a ride with them in order to shack up with a former high school lover who has been sending him enticing pictures on the internet. Then, when they stop in Simon's home town, they find that Simon?s ex-alcoholic father is back off the wagon, and they must drag him against his will to a rehab facility in Dallas.
Director Chris Harris? dark and hilarious exploration of right and wrong may even entice viewers to leave their own shitty jobs in pursuit of their dreams.
