The realms of the mind are vast and awesome. Bikini Moon gives a provocative and convincing portrayal of an unstable woman trying to get her life together. Bikini (Condola Rashad, Smash) plays a former marine with mental issues. She becomes the focus of interest for a documentary film crew who want to use her story for their movie. Kate (Sarah Goldberg, The Dark Knight Rises) is believable and heart-wrenching as the producer trying to save her. The documentary within the film is spellbinding as a vehicle for revealing the ripple effect of Bikini’s turbulent pond.
