In Black Tape: A Tehran Diary, a video tape found in the garbage is revealed to be a young Kurdish wifeâ??s daily video diary. The film follows Galavije who is quickly shown to be not much more than a sex slave to her Iranian husband. Told from Galavijeâ??s video diary accounts, the film slowly reveals Galavijeâ??s imprisonment by her husband as well as his murky involvement with the military.
